Job summary
Jackson Civil Engineering Ltd is offering a 12-month placement for a Civil Engineering student to work on-site within a project team as an assistant engineer. Guidance and training will be provided to translate university theory into practical site delivery, with focus on progressing construction and supporting the project team.

Qualifications
- Must be studying a Civil Engineering degree.
- Based in the region you're applying for.
- Must have a full UK driving licence and pass a driver assessment during induction.
- Driving licence is essential for the role.
Responsibilities
- Assist the engineer with their duties on site.
- Develop understanding of key construction tasks.
- Learn company procedures, temporary works, construction techniques, materials and plant, and contract/spec types and processes.
