McCarthy Stone is seeking a part-time Care Assistant for our Chesterton Court development in Ilkley. This on-site role involves helping residents with daily tasks and social activities, with no travel between calls.

You will support older adults to live independently and participate in wellbeing routines, with enhanced pay for evenings and weekends, and access to funded training and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in UK health and social care preferred.
• Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus but not essential.
• Caring, dependable and passionate about supporting older adults.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily domestic tasks including appointments, light cleaning, laundry and shopping.
• Assist with social activities and wellbeing routines.
• Promote independence, dignity and community engagement.
• Support with individual care packages.
