Job summary

Arguile is seeking an experienced Interim Procurement Manager to join a leading manufacturing business on an initial 3-month assignment at site in West London. You will lead day-to-day Capex, maintenance and repair procurement, collaborating with operations to drive value and delivery.

You will own sourcing projects from requirement through supplier selection, negotiation and contract award, negotiate terms, manage supplier relationships, and identify cost-saving opportunities in a hands-on

Qualifications

• Strong experience across Capex procurement.
• Proven category management and strategic sourcing experience.
• Experience within a factory, manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience across maintenance and repair procurement.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience managing the full procurement process from requirement through to contract award.
• A highly autonomous, delivery-focused approach.
• Pharmaceutical experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Previous interim experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day procurement activity across Capex, maintenance and repair.
• Manage live sourcing projects from requirement through to supplier selection, negotiation and contract award.
• Work closely with factory, operations and maintenance stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver procurement solutions.
• Run RFQs, tenders and competitive sourcing exercises.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and commercial agreements with suppliers.
• Manage existing supplier relationships and resolve commercial or performance issues.
• Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities across relevant categories.
• Support the delivery of procurement projects and capital investment requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and provide updates on activity, savings and progress.
• Take ownership of tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
