Overview

On Site AV Technician — £35,000 - £40,000 Salary (DOE) • Twickenham • 08:30 - 17:00

Role

As an On Site AV Technician, you will provide crucial support to our facility by performing preventative maintenance, conducting pre-match checks, managing incidents, and collaborating with the team.

Duties
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all audio visual needs at our facility.
  • Conduct daily scheduled preventative maintenance visits and maintain detailed records.
  • Perform pre-match checks and provide thorough reports to ensure optimal performance.
  • Deliver exceptional on-site support, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Accurately log and manage all incidents to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain an inventory of all AV equipment on site.
  • Conduct annual Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Assist with the commissioning of Audio-visual integrated solutions.
  • Deinstall and reinstall AV equipment as needed.
  • Conduct technical site surveys to identify and address any issues.
  • Provide customer training on AV system operation.
  • Offer reactive AV support to other sites as needed.
What You\'ll Need
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of AV systems.
  • Familiarity with networking principles.
  • The ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
  • Expertise in AV control systems and audio DSPs.
  • Working knowledge of Crestron, Extron, and AMX systems.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • The flexibility to work weekends as needed.
