Job summary

MotionTech is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a site-based role in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and perform scheduled maintenance and reactive fixes on automated systems, coordinating with the client’s operations team to keep equipment running on plan.

The role requires basic engineering knowledge and flexibility to work early and late shifts Sunday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Basic engineering or electrical/mechanical understanding from work or training.
• Willingness to work a shift pattern including Sundays to Fridays.
• Experience with CMMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep the automation running to hit the daily operational plan.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance using the CMMS.
• Respond to reactive faults quickly to keep downtime to a minimum.
• Log spares, time, and fault information on the CMMS.
• Maintain good housekeeping across all automated areas.
• Follow all health and safety requirements on site.
• Work solo or with the wider maintenance team, depending on the task.
