Job summary

Pertemps Stoke on Trent is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join a growing Stoke-on-Trent finance team, reporting to the Financial Controller. You’ll gain exposure to management accounts, month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting and process improvements.

This on-site role (Mon-Fri) offers progression opportunities within an owner-led business and a salary up to £45,000, with ACCA/CIMA part-qualification encouraged, Sage experience essential, strong Excel skills, and stock

Qualifications

• Excel proficiency required.
• ACCA/CIMA part-qualified preferred.
• Strong month-end, journals, accruals and prepayments knowledge required.
• Stock accounting experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management accounts and month-end reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Financial Controller and finance team across the function.
