Job summary

Line Up Aviation in Farnborough seeks a contract Quality Control Inspector to join the Build/AIT team for 6 months, with potential for permanence. You will ensure adherence to quality standards across Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration and Test activities while identifying issues and supporting quality-related decisions.

The role requires demonstrated QC/inspection experience in manufacturing, preferably aerospace, with on-site work, BPSS clearance, and a rate of £31.29 per hour via Umbrella

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality control/inspections.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.
• Aerospace industry experience preferred.
• Ability to identify non-conformances and raise ORs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and quality control to Build/AIT team.
• Support go/no-go decisions by assessing incident severity.
• Review work instructions for technical accuracy and compliance.
• Inspect drawings to support work instruction reviews.
• Verify quality coverage in work instructions and correct deficiencies.
• Ensure technicians are trained per the skill matrix.
• Halt work if quality standards are compromised.
• Manage local non-conformances and NCRs; raise Occurrence Reports.
• Coordinate with teams for minor OR dispositions.
• Inspect supplier-delivered parts for compliance.
