Job summary

AALTO, based in Farnborough, seeks a Quality Control Inspector to join the Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) team on a 6-month contract onsite. Salary is paid hourly with PAYE or umbrella options.

You will ensure products, processes and assemblies meet high quality standards throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, working with technicians, engineers and team leads to drive corrective actions and maintain compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality control within manufacturing.
• Experience inspecting electro-mechanical, mechanical or composite assemblies.
• Knowledge of patrol auditing and process compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide QC expertise to manufacturing and AIT teams.
• Assess incidents and determine quality actions.
• Review instructions for technical accuracy and compliance.
• Inspect drawings and documentation for standards adherence.
• Verify training records and competency requirements.
• Stop work when quality requirements are unmet.
