Job summary

MPI Limited is seeking an Apprentice Assessor based on site at RAF Odiham, Hook, Hampshire. The role supports the RAF AEAF apprenticeship for TG1 & TG13 Level 3 Aeronautical Engineering Apprentices, following graduation from RAF Cosford.

You will review learner progress, manage assessments, maintain records, and act as a focal point for apprenticeship enquiries. Training at RAF Cosford and MOB training establishments may be required.

Qualifications

• DBS clearance is required.
• Thorough understanding of TG1 and TG13 apprenticeship standards and assessment.
• Experience as an assessor or trainer is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer 3 monthly progress reviews to establish learner progression against the completion of their apprenticeship, review previous targets, set new targets, record and monitor Off the Job Training, ensuring that statutory training requirements are met.
• Monitor for welfare concerns and reporting as necessary.
• Assist apprentices in preparing for their apprenticeship assessment and EPA where appropriate, helping them understand the assessment criteria, reviewing draft submissions and providing feedback.
• Establishing and maintaining an understanding of the Apprenticeship Framework components relevant to TG1 & TG13 Apprentices.
• Maintain paper and electronic documents and records, update, review, store and secure as necessary.
• Assist with support functions such as assurance activities and development of apprenticeship standards and processes.
• Maintain annual CPD for the role.
• Act as focal point for apprenticeship enquiries.
