Arden White Limited is seeking an Accounts Assistant for a private automotive group in Swindon. This on-site position offers ownership of your workload with a supportive, wider Group Accounts function.

No motor trade experience required; prior experience in Accounts Assistant/Finance roles is beneficial. The role involves bank reconciliations, cashbook postings, and monitoring debtor/creditor accounts, with ongoing training and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous accounts or finance administration experience
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Comfortable using computerised accounting systems and Microsoft Office
• Able to manage workloads and work to deadlines
• Proactive and methodical approach to work

Responsibilities

• Processing and reconciling daily bank transactions
• Investigating unmatched receipts and payments
• Posting cashbook entries and journals
• Completing daily bank reconciliations
• Processing commission statements and invoices
• Reviewing debtor, creditor and suspense accounts
• Resolving discrepancies and maintaining accurate financial records
• Supporting management accounts processes and general accounts administration
