Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join the head office team in Swindon, supporting the Assistant Financial Controller. You will handle invoicing and cashbook entries and help maintain accurate financial records, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

The role offers a starting salary around £30,000 per year, negotiable with experience, 40-hour weeks, and benefits including life assurance and career development opportunities within a prominent automotive group

Qualifications

• Recent or current experience in a similar accounts or finance role.
• Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Excel.
• Methodical, organised and accurate approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience using SAGE accounting software would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Live within a commutable distance of Swindon.
• A full UK driving licence with minimal points.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle stock book invoices accurately.
• Enter bank transactions into the cashbook.
• Keep clear, up-to-date financial records daily.
• Record and pass on messages accurately and efficiently.
• Support the Assistant Financial Controller with accounts administration.
• Travel occasionally between group sites when required.
