Red Bull UK is currently recruiting for a Field Sales Manager to be based in the South of England.

The Field Sales Manager is responsible for leading a high performing team of Account Managers across both traditional (Pubs, Bars, Clubs) and non-traditional (White & Blue Collar Catering) on-trade. The Field Sales Manager will coach, train and manage their team to ensure consistent momentum winning quality distribution and executing with excellence. You must reside in the South of England, which includes major cities such as Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Bournemouth, Exeter, and Plymouth.

Job Description

Living the Red Bull On Trade culture

  1. Having a passion for the On Trade and living the Red Bull On Trade Culture.
  2. Leading from the front, being a Red Bull brand ambassador around their Account Managers.
  3. Monitoring image standards in the field regarding the premium brand values of Red Bull.

Communication

  1. Fluent communication and know-how exchange with his/her team and the Head of Field Sales.
  2. Teamwork with other On Trade Field Sales Managers.
  3. Securing and optimising the relationship with all regional business units, working 360 across the On Trade (On Trade Marketing, Traditional National On Trade, Extended On Trade) and wider business (Field Marketing, Off Trade, Culture, Commercial Finance) to land the strategy in the field.

Regional Strategy Management

  1. Planning and continuously developing their area in the regional business plan.
  2. Securing the implementation of the national business plan in the region.
  3. Manage team to drive horizontal and vertical growth by putting the national On Trade strategy into practice. Permanently searching for new opportunities and securing existing ones.
  4. Setup proper route planning to secure perfect outlet coverage in the respective area.
  5. Builds and maintains relationships with key On Trade partners in the assigned area.

Administration

  1. Ownership of the regional On Trade budget in relation with the national business plan.
  2. Tracking Account Manager activities in the region. Fulfilment of reports deadlines.
  3. Compile and report on competitor activity in the region.
  4. Active search of new business opportunities for increased growth in the region.

Trade Marketing

  1. Working closely with Trade Marketing to drive volume and our premium brand image across a range of On Trade accounts ensuring each has the right product, with the right tools, in the right place with the correct messaging.
  2. Leverage added value solutions which build long term partnerships and credibility.

Training Facilitation

  1. Continuously seek out and engage potential candidates that best fit Account Manager job description.
  2. Assess candidates on both substantive answers to interview questions as well as overall communication, sales skills, and presentation.
  3. Spend a minimum of 3 days a week in the field with Account Managers. Ongoing on the job training and coaching of Account Managers based on observations and individual skills and strengths.
  4. Execute the regional training plan and conduct regular 'skill pills.'

Qualifications

  1. Strong sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  2. Management experience (in the On Trade beverage industry is a plus).
  3. Strong On Trade industry knowledge, contacts and experience in 'the scene'.
  4. Strong analytical, planning and financial skills.
  5. Clear understanding of markets, sales & distribution, competitor activity and consumer behaviour in FMCG context.
  6. Very strong negotiation and communication skills.
  7. Fully understands and embraces the Red Bull Account Manager profile.
  8. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
  9. Must have a valid UK driving license.
