Job Description:

RedBull UK is currently recruiting for a Field Sales Manager to be based in the South of England.

The Field Sales Manager is responsible for leading a high-performing team of Account Managers across both traditional (Pubs, Bars, Clubs) and non-traditional (White & Blue Collar Catering) on-trade. The manager will coach, train, and manage their team to ensure consistent momentum, winning quality distribution, and executing with excellence. Residency in the South of England is required, including major cities such as Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Bournemouth, Exeter, and Plymouth.

  • Having a passion for the On Trade and living the RedBull On Trade Culture.
    Leading from the front, being a RedBull brand ambassador around their Account Managers.
    Monitoring image standards in the field regarding the premium brand values of RedBull.

  • Fluent communication and know-how exchange with your team and the Head of Field Sales.
    Teamwork with other On Trade Field Sales Managers.
    Securing and optimizing relationships with all regional business units, working 360° across the On Trade (On Trade Marketing, Traditional National On Trade, Extended On Trade) and wider business (Field Marketing, Off Trade, Culture, Commercial Finance) to land the strategy in the field.

  • Planning and continuously developing your area in the regional business plan.
    Securing the implementation of the national business plan in the region.
    Managing the team to drive horizontal and vertical growth by translating the national On Trade strategy into practice. Searching for new opportunities and securing existing ones.
    Setting up proper route planning to ensure optimal outlet coverage in the area.
    Building and maintaining relationships with key On Trade partners in the assigned area.

  • Ownership of the regional On Trade budget in relation to the national business plan.
    Tracking Account Manager activities in the region and fulfilling report deadlines.
    Compiling and reporting on competitor activity in the region.
    Actively seeking new business opportunities for increased regional growth.

  • Working closely with Trade Marketing to drive volume and uphold our premium brand image across On Trade accounts, ensuring the right products, tools, placement, and messaging.
    Leveraging added value solutions to build long-term partnerships and credibility.

  • Continuously seeking and engaging potential candidates who fit the Account Manager profile.
    Assessing candidates on interview responses, communication, sales skills, and presentation.
    Spending at least 3 days a week in the field with Account Managers; ongoing on-the-job training and coaching based on observations and individual strengths. Executing regional training plans and conducting regular ‘skill pills’.

  • Strong sales experience with a proven success record.
  • Management experience (preferably in the On Trade beverage industry).
  • Deep industry knowledge, contacts, and experience in “the scene”.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and financial skills.
  • Understanding of markets, sales & distribution, competitor activity, and consumer behavior in FMCG.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Alignment with the RedBull Account Manager profile.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Valid UK driving license required.
  • Travel 70-80%.
