Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to ensure the stability and integrity of in-house data, LAN & WAN, and wireless network services. You will plan, design and develop LANs/WANs across the organisation and participate in installation, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of network hardware and software.

The role involves incident management, adherence to SLAs, and collaboration with a global Defence space client. On-call duties apply in an onsite delivery setting.

Qualifications

• BPSS/SC security clearance requires 5 years continuous UK address history at the point of application.
• Experience focused on networking and information security.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute in depth technical activity.
• Influence the direction of activities/plans and provide technical guidance to others.
• Investigate and help resolve issues on customer’s network and IT environment using agreed troubleshooting methodologies.
• Manage network support cases to enable fast resolution that exceeds customer expectations.
• Ensure accurate recording of all cases using the ticket management tool and close within agreed timeframes.
• Utilise central document repository to share knowledge and enable best practice.
• Support and own ad-hoc projects to develop the capabilities of the Ideal Service Centre.
• Support the wider team with knowledge share via emails, guides and team meetings.
• Participate in the on-call and shift rota; this is an onsite delivery-based role.
