Job summary

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service is seeking an On-call Firefighter in Freshwater. This paid, on-call role responds to emergencies while you maintain your everyday life.

The post is permanent with a minimum of 31 on-call hours per week and a DBS check is required. You must live or work within five minutes of the Fire Station.

Qualifications

• Previous Experience — You don’t need previous experience as we provide a comprehensive training programme.
• Crucially, you must be able to reach the fire station quickly and safely after being alerted to an incident.
• To be eligible to apply you must work and/or live within 5 minutes to the Fire Station; if you do not meet this criteria your application will be automatically rejected.
