Job summary

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service is seeking on-call firefighters to respond to emergencies and protect communities. You are employed by the fire and rescue service, with everyday life until pager activity; the role is part-time by nature but paid, with full training provided.

You must reach the fire station quickly after alert, be able to meet physical demands, and live within 4 minutes of the station. DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies and engage with community.
• Be trained and prepared for a range of incidents including fires, floods, road accidents, and other emergencies.
