Job summary

Abri is seeking an experienced Electrician to undertake safe electrical works across its housing stock, including repairs, installations, servicing and testing. The role requires high standards of workmanship and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

You will identify faults, rewire domestic systems, and ensure health and safety compliance while supporting apprentices and meeting job priorities. A DBS check is required and funded by the client.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with City & Guilds and current BS7671 knowledge.
• City & Guilds 2391 and 2360/2351 or NVQ3 in electrical installation.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel to properties.

Responsibilities

• Identify and repair faults, rewire domestic electrical systems to high standard.
• Ensure works comply with BS7671 and health and safety policies.
• Plan jobs from drawings/specifications and requisition materials.
• Provide electrical expertise for planned works in occupied or non-occupied properties.
• Cover out-of-hours emergency call-out as required.
• Maintain the company vehicle and carry out safety checks.
• Support and develop apprentices and trainees.
• Any other duties commensurate to the role.
