Position: OMS Supervisor
Location: Leicester (LE19 1WY)
Shift patterns:
Any 5 from 7 (predominantly Monday-Friday). 08:00-16:00 and/or 09:00-17:00
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

  • The OMS Supervisor is responsible for the efficient and cost-effective resource planning and execution of network transport and warehouse operations
  • Generation and creating a variety of comprehensive reports, including financial reports, to provide insights into operational performance.
  • Conduct performance reviews with team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development to enhance overall operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining adherence to checklists.
  • Collect and analyse current daily and weekly data to assist with historical trend analysis
  • Maintain and update the Warehouse Layout Management (WLM) system to ensure all site layout changes and Standard Performance Review (SPR) updates are accurately reflected
  • Coordinate the headcount plan with Warehouse Management on an ongoing basis to optimise resource allocation
  • Conduct and coordinate planning-related activities for leadership, including Performance Reviews and one-on-one meetings
  • Monitor colleague performance in real-time, reporting any anomalies to ensure accountability and performance standards
