Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a Car Sales Executive to join our OMODA & JAECOO Dealership in Solihull. With our new purpose-built facility, be part of this exciting new brand in the UK and with Listers.

With major dealer uptake and plans for rapid growth in market share, the brand has recruited staff from some of the UK's leading manufacturers. We are looking for a hungry, exciting, and ambitious candidate.

Hours of Work

The hours of work are between 8:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Saturday (9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturdays), with a day off during the week. Working hours on Sundays are from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on a rota basis. Future flexibility on hours and shifts will be available as the team grows.

Role and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will prioritize customer excellence. As a Sales Executive with Listers, you’ll ensure every customer feels valued by understanding how our vehicles fit into their lives. The role involves matching customers to the right cars, features, and add-ons, from financing to contracts, aiming for complete customer satisfaction throughout the process.

  • Build trust, communicate effectively, and exceed customer expectations through qualification and creating a positive first impression.
  • Maximize opportunities through prospecting, follow-up calls, inbound enquiries, walk-in prospects, and internet inquiries.
  • Achieve monthly KPIs for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration, and add-on products to maximize profit.
  • Adhere to FCA and data protection obligations by accurately collecting customer contact and vehicle data to enhance the customer database.
About You
  • This role may suit someone with experience as a car sales executive, retail manager, or sales manager.
  • You should demonstrate a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with customers.
  • Potential to build a successful career in the industry.
  • You must hold a valid UK driver’s license.
  • Experience in motor trade, automotive, or car dealership is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
