Job summary

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated registered dental nurse to join the OMFS team. You will prepare surgical areas, assist chair-side for orthodontic and other procedures, and support clinicians in outpatients clinics. The role involves triage of patients with special needs and ensuring high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered dental nurse with GDC registration.
• Experience in OMFS or oral surgery is desirable.
• Excellent communication with patients and multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare clinical areas and instruments for surgical, orthodontic or restorative procedures.
• Chair-side assisting for orthodontics and other treatments.
• Support consultants and clinicians in outpatients clinics; identify patient needs before treatment.
• Advise, triage and prioritise patients with special needs to ensure timely, appropriate care.
