Royal Yachting Association in Hamble (Southampton) is seeking an Olympic Operations Coordinator to manage travel, logistics and coordination for the British Sailing Team’s training camps and international events. This full-time role supports the Olympic Programme with a focus on delivering world-class operational support.

The role reports to the Olympic Operations Manager and requires meticulous organisational skills, experience with international travel, and the ability to work across diverse

Qualifications

• Experience in busy administrative environment.
• Experience organising international travel and accommodation.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good written communication skills with accurate spelling and grammar.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient IT skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate travel, accommodation, entries and logistics for UK and overseas camps and regattas.
• Prepare venue information and logistics guides for athletes and staff.
• Organise bookings for training venues and programme resources.
• Coordinate use of vehicles, boats and trailers across the organisation.
• Prepare export/import documents for overseas travel.
• Maintain programme budgets and expenditure records.
• Process invoices and financial administration accurately.
• Maintain athlete, coach and staff qualification records.
• Support delivery of team events and annual camps.
• Provide administrative support to Olympic Operations Manager and Performance Director.
