Job description

The Bolton Mental Health Directorate has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to apply for this role.

The successful candidate will play a central role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality Older Adults Community Mental Health Services and will deliver on the agreed model and related operational procedures. You will also support and deliver on service developments in relation to the community transformation agenda.

The post holder will have responsibility for the provision of leadership and management for the delivery of efficient and effective community mental health services and will lead, develop, promote, and evaluate a flexible, service user-focused service.

The post holder has responsibility for a portfolio of older adult services, including the OACMHT & Care Home Liaison service.

This position is currently full-time and may require travel to other sites within the directorate and Trust locations as needed. The post holder will also participate in the Bronze on-site/on-call rota.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Be responsible for the day-to-day operational management, leadership, and development of a designated multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Team, ensuring it is integrated, flexible, user-focused, and recovery-oriented to deliver a safe, effective, high-quality service to service users with mental health needs.
  2. Ensure delivery according to the relevant clinical pathways outlined within the CMHT operational procedure.
  3. Participate as a member of the Community Services Management Team in the overall management of community-based secondary mental health services.
  4. Participate in the service bronze on-call rotation as required.
