PART TIME - 7 PA

Salary Scale - £107,144 - £142,369 per annum (pro rata)

We are progressing toward having the best mental health services in Scotland for Older Adult Psychiatry and Liaison services. To achieve this, our board has invested in new Consultant positions, making us the best-resourced board for these specialties in the country. This investment will also ensure our services meet the Royal College of Psychiatrists Centre for Quality Improvement Accreditation Standards.

With the creation of these new roles, we offer flexibility in workforce deployment, allowing Consultants to focus more on inpatient, community, or combined settings.

Our current vacancy is within the Older Adult Liaison Psychiatry Team and Mental Health Assessment and Treatment Service, providing specialist assessments within our 750-bed acute hospital and community hospital areas. The teams are innovative and have received awards for their service delivery. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our liaison service.

We support all new Consultants in developing into the best doctors they can be, with opportunities for extra SPA time dedicated to teaching, training, patient safety, and service improvement.

Forth Valley offers an excellent quality of life, featuring natural beauty including Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.
