Qualifications

Gas Engineer Domestic Oil and Gas, Service and Repair

Location: You will need to be within 30 minutes travel of Shropshire or South Staffordshire.

Work Schedule: You will work across all areas. Oil work will be predominantly in the Shrewsbury area. You will receive a fully costed van and fuel card to support your daily operations.

In this role, we are looking for a flexible, experienced engineer to be the first point of contact for our engineers in the field, while also carrying out Gas Repairs and Servicing of domestic Oil and Gas Fired appliances and systems in Social Housing properties, achieving first-time fix where possible by utilising our 24-hour support network. We are searching for passionate Gas Engineers who are committed to quality and excellence.

You will:

  • Hold a valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points
  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK
  • Minimum of 2 years qualified experience of servicing, fault finding, and diagnosis of both Oil and Gas fired domestic appliances and heating systems
  • Be ACS qualified, including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, & CKR1
  • Be OFTEC accredited in 0FT10-101, OFT10-105e, OFT10-600a
  • HETAS (Solid Fuel), LPG, and Unvented preferable but not essential - Upskill Potential

Coach and support colleagues within the team.

Attend problem jobs and be the escalation point to provide successful customer outcomes.

Exhibit knowledge of all procedures and safety measures to PH Jones and British Gas standards whilst offering excellent customer service.
