Qualifications

Gas Engineer

Domestic Oil and Gas, Service and Repair

Location

You will need to be within 30 minutes travel of Shropshire or South Staffordshire.

Work Schedule

You will work across all areas. Oil work will be predominantly in the Shrewsbury area. You will receive a fully costed van and fuel card to support your daily operations.

Role Overview

We are seeking a flexible, experienced engineer to be the first point of contact for our field engineers, while also conducting gas repairs and servicing of domestic oil and gas appliances in social housing properties, aiming for first-time fix where possible using our 24-hour support network. We value passionate engineers committed to quality and excellence.

Requirements
  • Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Minimum 2 years qualified experience in servicing, fault finding, and diagnosis of Oil and Gas domestic appliances and heating systems
  • ACS qualification including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, & CKR1
  • OFTEC accreditation in 0FT10-101, OFT10-105e, OFT10-600a
  • Preferable but not essential: HETAS (Solid Fuel), LPG, and Unvented
Upskill and Support

Coach colleagues, attend problem jobs, escalate issues, exhibit safety and procedural knowledge, and provide excellent customer service.
