Job summary

Petroineos Trading Limited seeks a Head of Analytics, Oil to lead the Crude Oil and Refined Products analytics function from London. You will manage up to 6 analysts, shape market intelligence, forecasting and macro strategies, and partner with Trading Managers, Originators and senior leadership to drive value.

The role requires senior analytics leadership in trading/energy, with deep knowledge of crude and product markets, and a track record of influencing strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior analytics, research, or market intelligence role within trading/energy.
• Proven leadership of high‑performing analytical teams.
• Ability to translate market dynamics into commercial insight and actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Oil Analytics Function and develop the Crude Oil & Refined Products Analytics team.
• Develop long‑term market outlooks, forecasts and strategic views across global oil markets.
• Support Trading, Origination and Business Development with market intelligence and scenario analysis.
• Drive cross‑commodity and global alignment of market views and analytics outputs.
• Champion adoption of analytics, technology and AI in the Oil Analytics function.
