Job summary

Voltage Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced OHL Trainer to maintain and develop workforce competence, ensuring linesmen and site personnel are trained and assessed safely. UK-wide role with regular travel to projects and sites, delivering practical and classroom-based training and competency assessments.

The candidate should have substantial practical OHL experience and a strong understanding of OHL methods, equipment, and risks, with full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an OHL Trainer, Assessor or Competence Assessor.
• Significant practical experience in the Overhead Line industry.
• Strong understanding of OHL construction, maintenance, wiring and associated methods.
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mandatory and specialist OHL training across UK projects.
• Maintain up-to-date training records and competency profiles.
• Undertake linesmen competency assessments and sign-off personnel.
• Produce and maintain training certificates and records.
• Review and develop training materials and equipment.
• Ensure health and safety throughout training and assessment activities.
