Qualifications

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing multiple projects within the framework, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Reporting directly to the Framework Manager, you will be responsible for project planning, stakeholder engagement, financial management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

This role is perfect for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail when it comes to project execution and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and monitor all site-specific health and safety documentation.
  • Ensure projects comply with CDM Regulations 2015.
  • Oversee project staffing, materials, and training requirements.
  • Manage project programmes, ensuring delivery within budget and agreed timelines.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and senior management to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee contract scope changes and variations.
  • Prepare project tendering and pricing documentation.
  • Collate and analyse project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Work closely with the SHEQ team to conduct site safety audits and investigations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: IOSH Managing Safely, SSSTS certification.
  • Industry Experience: Experience managing projects within distribution-level substations (up to 66kV).
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and client-specific rules and regulations.
  • Client Authorisations: SPEN Competent Person and APSA authorisations preferred.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Financial Acumen: Ability to manage project financial records effectively.
  • Project Management Skills: Capability to manage multiple projects of varying value simultaneously.
