Job summary

Panda is seeking a Field Engineer to provide temporary cover across the UK. The role involves servicing wash pads, inspecting fuel tanks and interceptors, and fault-finding on-site with occasional overnight stays.

You will work largely independently, manage your own time, and coordinate with customers during visits. Ideal candidates hold an OFTEC qualification, have a full driving licence, and can travel nationwide.

Qualifications

• Full, valid driving licence required.
• Experience using hand tools and completing practical maintenance work.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage own time.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and stay away overnight.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong understanding of safe working practices.
• OFTEC qualification is required; FLT licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites across the UK to service wash pads and inspect fuel tanks and interceptors.
• Perform planned servicing, cleaning, inspection and fault-finding tasks.
• Replace pumps, compressors and other components as needed.
• Complete job records and supporting documentation accurately.
• Liaise with customers on site and follow safety procedures.
• Work safely with hand tools and equipment and manage workload and schedule.
