A leading energy company is seeking an Offshore Wind Balance of Plant Technician at the Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm. This role focuses on maintaining compliance and inspecting wind farm components. Applicants should have a recognised apprenticeship and knowledge of offshore operations is desirable. Job Description Base Location: Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm (Commutable distance to Montrose Port for mobilisation)
Salary: £34,749 - £40,939 depending on experience + shift allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Offshore rotation 2 weeks on 2 weeks off
The role
Based at the Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm, and mobilising from Montrose Port, the Offshore Wind Balance of Plant (BOP) Technician will report to the SOV Manager and work from the Service Operations Vessel (SOV) on a rotational shift basis.
This is a key role responsible for supporting the safe and reliable operation of both above-sea and subsea structures, as well as associated plant and equipment. You'll help reduce downtime, maintain compliance, and contribute to a strong safety-first culture across operations.
Depending on site requirements, this role may also require authorisation as an Approved Person (AP) under the Operational Safety Rules (OSR) and the Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR) to carry out specific activities safely and effectively.
