Job summary

Sonardyne Inc. in Plymouth seeks a Surveyor to join our Technology Services team, combining offshore survey operations, subsea positioning, and data analysis to support customers globally.

You’ll become a trusted technical expert, delivering first-line support and performance testing of Sonardyne hardware and software. Travel offshore up to four trips per year and regular onshore customer visits are part of the role, with training and certification as required to operate in challenging

Qualifications

• Experience providing technical support within a survey, offshore or related engineering environment.
• Ability to investigate technical problems, communicate solutions clearly and write guidance material.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical and operational support for customers using Sonardyne hardware, software and subsea positioning systems.
• Undertake LBL planning and analysis, INS simulations and data processing.
• Support system testing and evaluate offshore performance of Sonardyne products.
• Deliver technical workshops, training and produce technical reports and guidance notes.
• Travel offshore and internationally to support customer operations and trials.
