Job summary

MCL Medics is seeking an experienced offshore medic for a North Sea installation. The role involves delivering first-line medical care, emergency response, and occupational health support to all on board, serving as the focal point for hygiene, and working under the Offshore Installation Manager with 24/7 clinical support via phone.

Qualifications

Job description

North Sea

• 1 week on / 4 weeks off
• Up to £25,000

Experienced offshore medic after a 1/4 rotation (5th week medic position), a strong salary and permanent position on a North Sea asset rather than ad-hoc positions? This one is worth a look.

The role

As the offshore medic on a North Sea installation, you will provide first-line medical care, emergency response and occupational health support to everyone on board. You will also serve as the installation's focal point for occupational hygiene. Working as an integral part of the offshore team under the direction of the Offshore Installation Manager, you will exercise independent clinical judgement as a registered healthcare professional, with 24/7 clinical support only a phone call away.

About You

• One of: Registered Nurse with 3+ years post-registration; HCPC paramedic; CMT1; or Royal Navy, RAF or RFA medical technician
• Current HSE Offshore Medic certificate, OEUK medical, BOSIET/FOET (with EBS) and MIST
• Comfortable working autonomously as the sole medic in a remote setting
