Job summary

A leading provider of engineering solutions in Aberdeen is seeking a Project Engineer / Project Manager / Project Co-ordinator to support offshore operations. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and possess strong organisational skills. Responsibilities include providing engineering support, managing projects, and preparing detailed work packs. This role offers a salary of £35,000-£45,000, along with 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays and pension contributions.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (HND/HNC considered).
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Experience interpreting schematics, technical drawings and manuals.
  • Familiarity with HSEQ requirements in offshore environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support for offshore repairs, refurbishment and maintenance.
  • Manage assigned projects, ensuring compliance with internal processes and policies.
  • Support mechanical equipment projects, including spare parts sourcing and refurbishment planning.
  • Conduct engineering design work.
  • Prepare detailed work packs for offshore/on-site execution.
  • Carry out lifting studies and site surveys both offshore and onshore.

Skills

Strong organisational skills
