Kinekta are currently working with one of the world’s leading companies in renewable power who are hiring for an Offshore Installation Manager – Cables (senior) to join their offshore installation and logistics team to support global offshore wind projects at all lifecycle stages.

Offshore Wind is a constantly evolving industry and within this role you will be responsible for the development of offshore wind farm Subsea Cable Installation plans for our clients’ future projects whilst working as part of a team of experts across Foundation Installation, Cable Installation, Wind Turbine Installation and other areas of offshore wind farm installation.

Essential qualifications for candidates:

• BSc or MSc Degree / equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, Master Mariner or related areas.
• Experience in development and construction projects of offshore wind farms.
• Proven track record in offshore wind project and package management.
• Strong project Management experience in offshore logistics.
• Understanding of tendering and contracts used in subsea cable installation.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, organisational and time management skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Outstanding team player, self-starting and highly motivated.
• A flexible approach to work and travel across Europe and APAC regions as required
• Ability to work offshore and work at heights.
• skills: Fluent spoken and written English.

Desirable experience:

Understanding of contract management / contracts used in offshore construction.

Experience in the management of cable installation vessels.
