Job summary

Wood is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for the Centrica contract, mobilising from Humberside with a2/2 rotation. The role forms part of the Offshore Maintenance Team and focuses on executing planned and emergent work safely and efficiently on offshore facilities.

You will maintain infrastructure, perform scheduled tasks and breakdown repairs, estimate and plan activities in SAP, and record hours.

Qualifications

• Offshore facilities maintenance experience.
• BOSIET, MIST and offshore medical required.
• Experience with SAP Work Execution or similar is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Execute planned and emergent maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to Centrica standards, processes, and control of work procedures.
• Align with Centrica’s safety culture and observation system.
• Estimate and plan work activities in SAP in compliance with the Work Execution Gated Process.
• Record actual hours and provide robust completion data in SAP.
• Support continuous improvement through feedback forms including generating/improving task method statements and validating planned hours.
• Door maintenance (internal/external)
• Plumbing repairs and emergent defects
• Fabrication (e.g., brackets)
• Assist vendors with accommodation repairs/upgrades
• Fitting new showers and doors
• Carpet and floor tile fitting
