Job summary

The WellGear Group is seeking an experienced Engineering Draughtsman to support ongoing operations by developing engineering designs and technical drawings for a range of well projects. The role involves close collaboration with the engineering team and Project Managers to deliver high-quality, practical solutions on time.

You will produce detailed concept designs, 3D layouts, and rig-up drawings, while coordinating with suppliers and third-party engineers.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Design, or related discipline would be advantageous.
• Previous experience in a similar engineering design or draughting role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed engineering and concept designs.
• Conducting offshore and onshore site surveys.
• Producing technical drawings and designs for manufacture and fabrication.
• Supporting and managing the manufacturing and fabrication process.
• Working closely with, and coordinating, third-party engineers and suppliers.
• Producing detailed 3D layouts, rig-up drawings and associated engineering documentation.
• Working collaboratively with Project Managers to implement design changes and modifications.
• Actively using and maintaining the company’s equipment management and certification systems.
• Ensuring all designs and drawings are produced to a high standard and in line with project requirements.
