Role Description

This is a hybrid role for an offshore installation manager within the wind energy sector to oversee the regulatory compliance of offshore wind projects. It offers the flexibility of home working.

Job Responsibilities

1. Analyse, recommend, and optimise offshore installation, logistics concepts, and installation procedures prior to and during installation.
2. Prepare technical invitation-to-tender documents.
3. In cooperation with the Package and Contract manager, tender, negotiate, and recommend installation contracts including MWS.
4. Manage offshore installation contractors and MWS, ensuring cross-discipline cooperation within the project team.
5. Ensure contractor delivery and review of method statements and risk assessments.
6. Set up and implement HAZID/HAZOP for installation design and offshore installation operations.
7. Provide progress reports to Project Manager for all managed contracts, including significant technical risks, and develop contingency plans.
8. Supervise and approve trialing, tool development, loading, and vessel setup.
9. Supervise the initiation of the offshore installation campaign.
10. Manage Client Representatives and QA Daily Progress Reports.
11. Create, monitor, and control the execution of Design Quality reports and align input from Supplier quality management.
12. Review product NCRs and review method statements from suppliers.
13. Review product and as-built documentation during the AP execution phase.

Requirements

We need an experienced person, preferably with knowledge of Ørsted projects, with expertise in:

• Array cable installation
• Cable laying
• Cable pulling
• Cable protection systems

Duration: 12 months. 40 hours/week. 7 days travel expected per month.
