Job summary

Fareham College is seeking a highly organised Examinations Officer to join our team. This key role ensures the integrity, accuracy and compliance of our examination processes, supporting staff and students throughout the entire examination cycle.

You will manage the full cycle of exam administration, coordinate rooming and invigilators, support access arrangements and maintain accurate records, delivering high standards of service to students, parents and awarding bodies.

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or equivalent.
  • Desirable A Level passes or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full cycle of exam administration, including entries and results.
  • Coordinate exam logistics: rooming, invigilators, seating plans and resources.
  • Support access arrangements and reasonable adjustments for students.
  • Deliver high-standard customer service to students, parents and awarding bodies.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant examination and qualification records.
  • Collaborate with Enrolment Officers to identify data issues and ensure health & safety compliance.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised Examinations Officer to join our team at Fareham College. This is a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy and compliance of our examination processes, supporting both staff and students throughout the entire examination cycle. Further details about the role are outlined below.,

  • To be responsible for the full cycle of exam administration, including entries, results processing and ensuring compliance with JCQ and awarding body regulations
  • To coordinate all exam logistics, including rooming, invigilator deployment, seating plans and required resources
  • To support the implementation of access arrangements and reasonable adjustments in line with student needs
  • To deliver a high standard of customer service to students, parents, curriculum teams and awarding bodies
  • To maintain accurate, compliant and up to date examination and qualification records
  • To work collaboratively with Enrolment Officers to identify and resolve data issues highlighted through quality reports, Ensure that the Health and Safety policy and procedures operated by the college are adhered to and that all statutory requirements are met by all staff with postholder's areas of responsibility.
