This role will ensure that the Homes England Chair and Chief Executive are effectively supported is fundamental to the delivery of the Agency’s mission and objectives. Working in their office, you will be involved in enabling them to carry out their roles and responsibilities, working closely and responsively to Senior Managers and the Head of CEOC.
CEOC and its team are the interface between the Chair/Chief Executive and the wider Agency. As part of this team, you will support the effective flow of information from the Agency to the Chief Executive and Chair and from them back to colleagues across the organisation. You will also support the CEOC Senior Managers in sharing communication from the Chief Executive/Chair to partners and stakeholders in government and the market.
A core part of this role – and essential to enabling the Chief Executive/Chair to carry out their responsibilities – is commissioning briefing in response to emerging issues and for meetings and events and ensuring that all material coming in and out of CEOC is to a high standard.
The successful applicant will have experience of working within a busy team and have strong collaboration skills. They will be highly organised with the ability to manage their own workload, prioritise accordingly and put in place systems to ensure work is delivered on time and to a high standard.
The role will require strong written communication skills, the ability to work at pace and excellent interpersonal skills working with colleagues at all levels of the organisation to ensure that the Chair and Chief Executive are fully supported in their day-to-day duties.
