Job Description
- Oversee the smooth running of the office, ensuring all admin tasks are completed efficiently.
- Manage incoming correspondence (emails, calls, letters) and ensure timely responses.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc tasks and projects.
- Line manage designated staff, supporting performance and development.
- Manage procurement enquiries, supplier relationships, and subcontractors.
- Monitor budgets, producing accurate forecasts and reports in line with financial procedures.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and expenses, resolving finance-related queries.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Office Manager should have:
- Previous experience in an office management or similar secretarial and business support role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of DELTA/Agresso is beneficial
- Proficiency in using common office software, including word processing and spreadsheets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with public sector environments and procedures (desirable).
