SS&CTechnologies seek an Office Manager to be based in Lichfield, working as part of the Property team. This is an exciting opportunity for a flexible, highly organized individual with excellent personal and communication skills. The role is busy and requires initiative, great administration skills, and a hands-on approach, including some contractor supervision. This is 100% an office-based position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Building operation: Collaborate with building management and external engineers to ensure mechanical and electrical infrastructure performs optimally, address defects, and escalate issues as needed. Includes scheduled PPM tasks.
  • Tenant & Landlord relationship: Understand lease obligations and liaise with building management, attending tenant meetings as required.
  • Purchase of materials: Procure office supplies and services to support business needs.
  • Space planning and move management: Assist with space planning and coordinate moves.
  • Contractor management: Manage contracts and serve as the main contact for subcontractors working on building fabric and services, ensuring safety and responsibility.
  • Security Controls: Administer access control and CCTV systems, issue passes, and suspend passes as per procedures.
  • Visitor Control: Record visitors and issue identification.
  • New hire/termination: Coordinate onboarding and offboarding with HR, ensuring new hires have necessary supplies and access.
  • Health and Safety: Manage health and safety protocols, conduct risk assessments and audits, and maintain records.
  • Health and Safety documentation: Coordinate workstation assessments, evacuation plans, accident investigations, and fire & first aid coordination.
  • Meeting setup and adhoc events: Prepare meeting rooms and organize office events with management.
  • Building point of contact: Handle alarm activations and after-hours works.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by your manager.
