They are seeking a skilled and motivated Office Manager with practical experience to join the team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient administrative and accounting processes within the firm. The role requires a combination of administrative skills, accounting knowledge, and practical experience in a similar capacity.

What you'll do

  • General duties in accordance with the needs of the office - dealing with telephone calls from clients, all other staff and individuals or organisations, taking messages, ensuring follow up and resolving any problems as appropriate;
  • Office Management including; managing office email inbox, scanning, filing, printing, posting, maintaining office supplies
  • Resolving queries and reconciling supplier accounts;
  • Running month end reports to include analysis of staff timesheets, client job codes and raising fee invoices
  • Assist in financial tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, VAT returns and payroll coordination.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
  • Create and edit visual content using Canva for social media, proposals, and internal use
  • Assist with basic digital marketing activities and scheduling social content
  • Organise internal and client-facing events, including logistics and communications
  • Manage diaries, bookings, meeting rooms, and general office coordination
  • Provide ad hoc support to Directors and senior staff
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping, invoice processing, and account reconciliation
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments professionally
  • Prepare professional, well-formatted proposals and client documents
  • Support tender submissions, engagement letters, and reports
  • Ensure brand consistency and attention to detail across all outputs

  • Previous experience in an accountancy office environment would be desirable
