Job description

At Brady Solicitors, we’re entering an exciting phase of growth and are looking for a proactive, highly organised Office Manager to play a key role in the smooth running of our business.

This is a varied, hands‑on role combining office and facilities management, compliance coordination, business administration and executive support. You’ll take ownership of our office environment, ensuring it remains professional, welcoming, safe and compliant, while helping our teams operate effectively every day.

Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, you’ll work closely with colleagues across the business, external suppliers and senior stakeholders to support operational excellence and maintain high standards across the firm.

What you’ll be doing
Office & Facilities Management
  • Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the office, including facilities, maintenance and housekeeping.
  • Coordinate planned maintenance and resolve or elevate facilities issues.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring office infrastructure and services run efficiently.
  • Oversee stationery, office supplies and general workplace resources.
  • Coordinate the annual Lexcel audit and support ongoing compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Review and maintain key legal policies and procedures, ensuring they remain up to date and embedded across the business.
  • Act as Data Manager, coordinating data breach procedures and Subject Access Requests in line with GDPR requirements.
  • Coordinate the registration, monitoring and renewal of key business insurance policies.
  • Support health and safety compliance, working closely with the HR Manager and external compliance advisers where required.
Administration & Executive Support
  • Coordinate Executive Team diaries, meetings, travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Incoming and outgoing mail, printing, including ad hoc legal print jobs, and general office administration.
  • Handle incoming telephone calls and provide a professional, welcoming front‑of‑house service.
  • Provide ad hoc operational HR support in the HR Manager’s absence, escalating matters appropriately.
What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in creating an organised, efficient and professional working environment. You’ll be comfortable balancing practical office management with administrative responsibilities and compliance requirements, and confident taking ownership of tasks from start to finish.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Significant experience in office management, facilities coordination, administration or a similar operational role.
  • Some experience of providing operational HR support would be a welcome advantage.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and recurring tasks.
  • Experience coordinating suppliers, managing resources and maintaining workplace standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to processes, documentation and record keeping.
  • An understanding of confidentiality, GDPR principles, health and safety and risk management.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work with senior leaders, colleagues and external partners.
  • Experience of line management, allocating work and providing guidance or support to others.
  • A professional, approachable and service‑focused attitude.

It would be advantageous if you also have experience within the legal sector or professional services, familiarity with Lexcel accreditation, audit preparation, policy reviews, data protection processes or business insurance coordination.

Why join Brady Solicitors?

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a varied and important role within an ambitious, growing law firm. You’ll have the chance to make a tangible difference to the working environment, improve operational processes and support colleagues across the business.

If you’re a hands‑on, solutions‑focused professional who enjoys bringing structure, organisation and high standards to a busy workplace, we’d love to hear from you.
