Overview

Keenan Recruitment has been retained to recruit for a full-time, permanent, experienced Office Manager in Antrim.

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 09:00am – 17:00pm, Friday 09:00am – 15:00pm.

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.

About our client:
This firm was established in 2012 and since then, they have been delivering the needs for Contractors and Surveyors in N. Ireland, Ireland, and UK. The Company covers a vast range of products suited to the construction and infrastructure industries. Mainly known for Survey Equipment supplies, over the years they have grown to acquire additional partners which help the company provide end to end solutions on and off machine for architectural, engineering and the entire construction community.

Purpose of the role

As our client continues to grow and develop, we are searching on their behalf for an experienced Office Manager. It will be your remit to ensure that the office is running smoothly. Everything from arranging staff meetings to maintaining resources must be taken care of, ensuring that the team can work in the most efficient way possible. This will involve several administrative, organisational and management duties.

Duties
  • Confidently liaise with employees at all levels, including senior management
  • Oversee the daily operations of the company and help improve the overall sales functions, working with staff in all departments to help improve their techniques
  • Promote and develop the innovate brand
  • Dealing with telephone calls, letters, reports etc
  • Management meetings daily with employees, ensuring targets are met
  • Promoting staff training and development
  • Assisting the HR dept. by keeping records up to date, organising inductions and appraisals etc
  • Implementing health and safety procedures
  • Recording office expenditure and managing the budget
Essential Criteria
  • 4 or more years of similar experience
  • Experience as an office manager or in a comparable administrative leadership role with a track record of success in maintaining efficient operations
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for fostering collaboration, resolving conflicts and building team morale
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with scheduling tools, project management platforms, and CRM systems
  • Experience managing office budgets, overseeing expense reporting and negotiating vendor contracts to ensure cost effective operations
  • Quick thinker with a knack for identifying issues and implementing creative, practical solutions
  • Ability to motivate and guide team members whilst fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
