Job Title – Office Junior – Travel Sector

Job Location – London

Salary – £16k plus Zones 1-3 Travelcard

If you have just finished university or college and want to break into the travel sector, we have the perfect role for you.

Our client is recruiting an office junior who is looking to break into the travel sector. Our client is based in Central London and has a stunning office on the River Thames.

In the role, you will be working in the visa department and will be processing passport and visa forms received on a daily basis for clients traveling to luxury holiday destinations.

You will be responsible for checking visa application forms for accuracy and printing off documents to support the individual visa applications.

Responsibilities:
  1. Take customer passports and visa application forms to relevant embassies on a daily basis.
  2. Help when required to process the incoming and outgoing visa applications.
  3. Prepare post on a daily basis, package visa documents for special delivery, and ensure post area is kept tidy.
  4. Meet and greet visitors to the office in a professional and courteous manner.
  5. Prepare and pack travel wallets.
  6. Arrange refreshments for guests and lunches for meetings as required.
  7. Keep guest meeting area and print areas tidy and presentable at all times.
  8. Ensure the kitchen area is well stocked, tidy, and clean throughout the day.
Skills Required:
  1. Travel sector educational background.
  2. Good written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Polite phone manner, able to take messages.
  4. Computer literate.
  5. Outgoing, ‘can do’ attitude, proactive, takes initiative.
  6. Understands the meaning of good customer service.
  7. Good interpersonal skills.
