Job summary

Pinnacle Group is recruiting for an experienced Office Cleaner to support the West Yorkshire Police site at Laburnum Road, Wakefield WF1. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment to a high standard in offices and meeting spaces.

This permanent 25-hour per week position runs Monday to Friday, 5am–10am, offering statutory benefits plus a broad range of additional perks tailored to the role and business area.

Qualifications

• Reliability and attention to detail required to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Must be physically fit and able to carry out manual cleaning tasks.
• Knowledge of COSHH, health & safety, colour coding and manual handling.
• Familiarity with a range of cleaning equipment including scrubber dryers.

Responsibilities

• Damp & spot mop, dust, polish surfaces, sanitise touch points, door handles, and fixtures.
• Clean changing rooms, toilets, hand basins and replenish supplies.
• Clean tea points and kitchen area.
• Remove waste from internal bins in offices and meeting rooms.
• Vacuum carpeted areas including barrier matting.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards at West Yorkshire Police site in Wakefield.

Job description

Your role will be to provide and maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for staff, users, and visitors to a high standard throughout the building,

• Damp & spot mopping, dusting, polishing of surfaces, fixtures and fittings, sanitising touch points, door handles, push plates, and other surfaces
• Cleaning changing rooms, toilet facilities, and hand basins and replenishing toilet paper, hand soap & towels
• To clean the tea points and kitchen area
• Removal of waste from internal litter bins within the offices and meeting rooms
• Vacuuming carpeted areas including barrier matting
