Job Description

We are excited to be recruiting a new office assistant for our client, a leading boutique private equity firm based in the heart of the West End. This is a unique opportunity for candidates keen to commence working in a professional services environment and develop their core office skills whilst working as an integral part of the support team.

As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing professional and timely service across many aspects of the office and EA support functions. We welcome candidates from the hospitality sector who are looking to transfer into a friendly and professional business support role.

Our ideal candidate will be comfortable dealing with C-suite clients, customer-focused, friendly, proactive, and enthusiastic to learn. Good communication skills and a desire to work in an open and professional team are essential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors to ensure a professional reception.
  • Providing hospitality such as tea, coffee, and water for client meetings.
  • Managing meeting rooms, including setting up IT and AV equipment.
  • Organising board lunches and catering as required.
  • Supporting EA duties and providing support for the two EAs as needed.
  • Data entry of contacts and interactions into the firm's CRM system.
  • Supporting office-related tasks such as printing, binding, posting.
  • Ordering and managing office supplies.
  • Managing and replenishing kitchen supplies and maintaining the coffee machine.
  • Assisting in planning and executing office social events.
  • Liaising with building reception, security, and maintenance teams.
  • Maintaining a high standard of the office environment.
  • Answering office phones and assisting with general office coordination.

We are flexible with working hours between 30 and 37.5 hours per week.
