Work Details
  • Scheduled hours will be determined based on hired student’s availability and will occur during Faculty Development office hours.
Position Description

Position Summary

This position will assist office personnel with research, marketing, annual reports and special events pertaining to the Office of Faculty Development, The Boyer Center, Teaching and Learning, Christian Faith and Academic Vocation, and New Educator Orientation.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Experience

  • Experience with Adobe and Canva is preferred.
  • Experience with other related tools may be discussed on assignment.

  • Perform office duties such as creating PowerPoint presentations, website edits, and designing posters, flyers and invitations.
  • Assist with programs and events.
  • Research topics related to Faculty Development.
  • Make copies, prepare, and print documents.
  • Assist the Dean for Faculty Development and other Faculty Development leaders with various projects and reports.
  • Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Be responsive to emails and other communications.
  • Commit to the work of assigned projects and follow through until completion.
