Office Assistant (5-Month FTC)

Salary: £27,000 (pro-rata)
Location: Central London
Working Hours: 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Fixed-Term (5 months)

About the Organisation:

We are recruiting for a fantastic 5 month fixed term contract supporting a busy, professional team based in central London. This is a full-time administration position working for an organisation within the legal sector. You will be assisting the team with a range of tasks related to training, events and general day to day business. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their administrative skills in a corporate environment.

What You’ll Do:
You’ll provide day-to-day administrative support to the Office team, helping to keep operations running smoothly. Tasks will include:

  • Supporting diary management and meeting preparation for the Director
  • Managing office supplies, filing and petty cash reconciliation
  • Handling phone/email enquiries and processing event or parking bookings
  • Assisting with event admin and occasional minute taking
  • Maintaining membership records and supporting small projects
  • Record and manage office expenditure within allocated budgets
  • Being flexible within the broad remit of the role and undertake any other duties within the organisation

Who You Are:
You’re organised, proactive and comfortable supporting a busy, professional team. You bring:

  • Previous administrative experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written, phone and in person)
  • Experience working in a membership organisation
  • Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office
  • Confidence handling financial transactions
  • Database input experience
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

What You’ll Get:

  • Salary of £27,000 (pro-rata for 5-month contract)
