We are looking to strengthen our Admin Support team with an Office Assistant at Head Office, Hattersley on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is open to part-time applications, but the working days must be spread across 5 days (full working week).

You will report directly to the Executive Assistant, supporting our Head Office to provide a professional and efficient administration service.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Reception Duties: Answering telephones with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Mail Management: Sorting, scanning, and franking mail, including postal runs to the local post office.
  • Courier Services: Using Inxpress software to arrange courier services across the company when required.
  • Administrative Support: Assisting with tasks such as typing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Office Maintenance: Ensuring the office environment remains clean and tidy.
  • Software Use: Operating internal systems and software (training provided).
  • Executive Assistance: Supporting the Executive Assistant with duties like expenses and travel/hotel arrangements.
  • Archiving: Managing and processing company archives.
  • Meeting Coordination: Ordering buffets and lunches for meetings and events.
  • Stock Management: Maintaining and ordering office supplies, including groceries and stationery.
  • General Office Administration: Assisting in the smooth running of day-to-day operations, including coffee machines.
  • Additional Tasks: Performing other duties such as external meeting room bookings and maintaining the HEET Group (Hattersley Engagement and Events Team).
